Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Joseph R. Kenneally, a Biddeford native, has practiced in York County since 1981. A nationally-recognized leader in the dental profession, Dr. Kenneally is a past President of the Maine Dental Association and a past Vice President of the American Dental Association, among many other posts. He currently serves the International College of Dentists as an International Councilman and the USA Section as a Vice Regent. He has authored a number of articles for a variety of dental publications and has made numerous presentations to professional groups on the diverse subjects of dental jurisprudence, CEREC restorations, and temporomandibular disorders. He has been a promoter and active participant in Maine's Donated Dental Services (DDS) program.
Dr. Kenneally has been an active member of the local community, having coached youth sports teams in both Biddeford and Kennebunk in ice hockey, softball, soccer, and baseball. He has served on several local Boards of Directors, including the Maine Dental Association, theYMCA, the University of New England, and two local grassroots groups that promoted community water fluoridation in the Biddeford-Saco and the Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells water districts.
Dr. Kenneally lives in Kennebunk with his wife, Dr. Lisa Howard. Their children are in the process of leaving the nest and becoming independent adults, but there are still a few at home. He enjoys golf, downhill skiing, sea kayaking, water color painting, computers, politics, and an occasional old timers' ice hockey game.
